Introducing Antonia

Antonia completed an apprenticeship as a dairy specialist at WOERLE and got to know all of the milk processing processes. At her request, she did a second apprenticeship as an office clerk. Today she is responsible for the farmer coordination.

How long have you been working at WOERLE?
Since March 2015. At that time I was doing an abbreviated apprenticeship as a dairy specialist. In 2017 I finished my apprenticeship and started my work in the cheese dairy. In 2018 I switched to farmer coordination and attended evening courses to become an office clerk.

What is the most exciting thing about working in a dairy?
I actually wanted to be a butcher, but I definitely wanted to work with food. "Kaserin" is an interesting profession that I would learn again and again. WOERLE also gave me a lot of support during my second apprenticeship as an office clerk.

What tasks are you responsible for today and what does your typical daily routine look like?
I drive from Attersee to Henndorf in the morning, coordinate with my colleagues, check milk quantities and then take care of the accounts for our 500 dairy farmers.

How does your perfect working day start?
To be honest, every day at WOERLE is a perfect working day for me, because here I've never thought in the morning that I didn't want to go to work. It was different in my old job.

What is the nice thing about your job?
On the one hand, milk is an exciting topic because it is variable and dependent on the weather. On the other hand, ever since I started at WOERLE, I've been taken care of by the men, especially when I was still working as a "kaserin". The working atmosphere is very pleasant at WOERLE.

What has been your best experience at WOERLE so far?
What I was most happy about was my successfully completed exams.

You work in Henndorf, not far from Wallersee. What makes this area special from your point of view?
The good air in the country is simply good, no noise, no hectic, you really don't miss anything.

What do you like to do in your free time?
I'm with the fire brigade as a group commander, go hunting and do a lot of work in our garden and on the farm with our sheep.

Which three cheeses would you take with you to a desert island?
The Bergkäse, a Bauernkäse as the heart and the Fresh cheese nature.

Can you tell us your favorite cheese recipe?
Wild garlic ravioli with Mondseer.

If you could only use one emoji for the rest of your life, what would it be?
The shamrock because everyone needs some luck in life. 🍀
