We introduce: Florian

Today we introduce you to Florian Daxer. Florian works in IT at WOERLE. While he struggles with computers and their software at work, he fights in a medieval club in his free time.

How long have you been working at WOERLE?
Since July 2020.

What tasks are you responsible for and what does your typical daily routine look like?
I am a system administrator in IT. I take care of the trouble-free operation of the entire information and communication technology. My day starts with checking the monitoring and the server. Then I work through the new e-mails and take care of callbacks. Then it's time to work through the to-do's.

How does your perfect working day start?
With a coffee 😉 and no rush, no calls, no problems.

What is exciting about your job?
I've been working in IT for over 20 years and since then no day has been the same, which is what makes IT so exciting in general. At WOERLE I am an internal service provider and as such I support my colleagues wherever possible. In addition, the food industry itself is very exciting and you have a very special closeness to the product. It's just something when you go into the shop and see your company's product lying around.

What has been your best experience at WOERLE so far?
There wasn't one big event in particular, but rather several moments that stuck in my memory. For example, when the senior manager came by and asked me if I was okay or when I was philosophizing with Gerrit in the tea kitchen about a musician who had died. It's just fun at WOERLE.

You work in Henndorf, not far from Wallersee. What makes this area special from your point of view?
I have always lived only two communities away from Henndorf, so I enjoy the short journey. The workplace is surrounded by a forest, the area is so beautiful, I "don't know it and don't care any different".

What do you like to do in your free time?
I'm involved with the fire department. I also travel a lot with a medieval club and take part in combat demonstrations. I like running, going to the mountains, riding my motorbike, reading and educating myself, because in IT you always have to be up to date.

If you had to go to a desert island, what three cheeses would you take with you?
I only need that Bergkäse 😉. Otherwise I'll take that Emmentaler and the ORGANIC hay milk cream cheese herbs mit.

Can you tell us your favorite cheese recipe?
Kasnocken from the wood oven with really well fried cheese.

If you could only use one emoji for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Definitely the rolling on the floor, it deserves a lot more laughing.🤣
