A confirmation of our quality standards
"We are delighted that our cheese specialties have once again been able to successfully compete internationally, and it confirms our uncompromising commitment to quality," says Gerrit Woerle, Managing Director of the family-run business. For him, this award is more than just a victory: It reflects the consistent use of sustainable hay milk and the dedication of our master cheesemakers.
Highest standards for the highest enjoyment
In addition to appearance and rind, the cheeses were also evaluated for texture, aroma, and flavor – all characteristics that arise from the unique hay milk feeding of our cows and the artisanal processing in our cheese dairy. WOERLE has always stood for cheese made from the finest Austrian hay milk – GMO-free, lactose-free, and with an incomparably natural flavor.
A look forward
The five medals are not only an award, but also an incentive: WOERLE will continue to focus on regionality, sustainability and the highest quality in order to offer cheese lovers all over the world the best products.
