WOERLE hay milk cheese is made from the very best milk. And they only give happy cows. Among other things, cow well-being lies in aromatic hay fodder that grows on insect-friendly hay milk meadows. They are the habitat for a great diversity of species – in plants as well as in insects and small animals. Not least because of this, the preservation of biodiversity is an important pillar of sustainability for us.

For WOERLE, sustainability also means always maintaining the natural balance. That's why we operate a circular economy. Our dairy farmers and employees are integrated into this, as are healthy soil, resource and climate protection, sophisticated waste management and a great sense of tradition and regionality.

With our flagship project “regional CO2-reduced" we support regional CO2-Saving to reduce CO2-footprint of our cheese, to the CO2-Avoidance and compensation on site as well as to create value in the region for the region.
