You can look forward to two nights at the Schlosshotel Mondsee – right in the heart of the charming town of Mondsee, just steps from the lake and surrounded by mountains, culture, and nature. Whether hiking, swimming, relaxing, strolling through the town, or taking a day trip to Salzburg: this weekend guarantees a delightful getaway for everyone!
The present-day Schlosshotel Mondsee was founded in 748 as a Benedictine monastery and looks back on over 1.200 years of history. Later, the monastery became a castle – today, the building combines historic walls with modern hotel amenities, stylish rooms, and the Monasterium wellness area with sauna and vaulted bath.
Mondsee also holds special significance for WOERLE: The traditional Mondsee cheese was first documented in 1830 at Mondsee Abbey. Today, the hearty and tangy WOERLE Mondsee cheese, made from hay milk, is a classic in the WOERLE range – produced according to a time-honored recipe from Mondsee Abbey.

During the competition period, we are once again uniting Schlosshotel Mondsee and Privatkäserei WOERLE to celebrate our shared values: enjoyment, quality, sustainability, and a tradition combined with modernity.
