BBQ burgers
Ingredients
| 4 | Brioche burger |
|---|---|
| 500 g | minced beef |
| 1 TL | red bell pepper powder |
| 1 TL | onion powder |
| 1 TL | Salt |
| 1 TL | neutral olive oil |
| 4 slices | BBQ Burger Cheddar Slices |
| 4 | Romaine lettuce |
| 2 | Vine tomatoes |
| 1 | Red onion |
| Barbecue sauce | |
| Optional | pickles |
Preparation
Place the minced meat in a bowl and season it with paprika, onion powder, and salt. Mix everything thoroughly until the spices are evenly distributed.
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form flat patties (with a small indentation in the middle – this will prevent them from curling up during frying).
Heat some olive oil in a pan. Fry the patties over high to medium heat for about 3–4 minutes per side, until nicely browned.
Towards the end, place a slice of BBQ cheddar on each patty and wait briefly until the cheese melts slightly.
Halve the burger buns and warm them briefly – e.g. on the toaster attachment or in the oven at 80 °C fan-forced, until they are slightly warm and a little crispy inside.
Slice the onion, tomatoes, and pickles into thin slices. Wash the lettuce and dry it thoroughly so the burger doesn't get soggy later.
Now you can assemble your burger however you like: bottom bun half, lettuce, patty with melted cheese, tomato, pickle, onion — put the top on and enjoy immediately.
