As Austria's hay milk pioneers, the Woerle brothers are founding members of the Austrian Hay Milk Cooperative. Since 2004, the consortium has brought together around 8.000 hay milk farmers and more than 60 dairies, cheese dairies and alpine dairies. With the aim of maintaining silo-free management, supporting hay milk farmers, processors and marketers, achieving greater added value for all partners, maintaining secure jobs and the production of high-quality products.

Gebrüder Woerle is a sponsor of the association Land Creates Life“, which informs consumers about how food is produced in Austria. The aim is to show transparently and without judgment how production takes place on the farm, how processing works and how the finished product ends up in the food trade. ÖKL

As part of the biodiversity lighthouse projects "Biodiversity in the hands of farmers" and "1.000 islands for animals and plants to promote biodiversity by 2030", Gebrüder Woerle is cooperating with the Austrian Board of Agricultural Engineering and Rural Development (ÖKL). The ÖKL is an educational institution operating throughout Austria with educational offers for farmers that are based on current topics. Farmers are supported in continuously improving their knowledge, skills and competencies for everyday work.

Sleuths' Corner

Gebrüder Woerle attaches great importance to educational work,which is why they are a sponsor ofSleuths' Cornerwhich is a facility for kindergarten-aged children to research and experiment. In more than 80 experiments, young researchers get their first insights into the natural connections between chemistry, physics and technology. Easy-to-understand instructions and training for the kindergarten teachers complete the overall package. The aim is to actively and playfully encourage young technical talent to develop into good technical specialists.

Perspektive Landwirtschaft

Gebrüder Woerle supports the association Perspektive Landwirtschaftto support the preservation of small-scale agriculture. Since 2013, the association has been a recognised contact point for non-family farm successors, cooperations and start-ups in agriculture. Farmers who are handing over farms without a successor, people who are looking for a farm and those who are interested can find out more, exchange ideas and get to know each other at the online Farm Exchange. It is also possible to get to know each other and exchange ideas at events that will be held throughout Austria.

Perspektive Landwirtschaft is committed to the preservation and further development of diverse and ecologically compatible agriculture, which requires more and not fewer farmers. Many people need to be involved in farming to ensure biodiversity and species diversity! It is very important to the association that farming knowledge is passed on and that sustainable innovations in agriculture are promoted. The main objective is to keep the rural area alive!

HBLA Ursprung

The HBLA Ursprung offers well-founded theoretical and practical training in the fields of agriculture and environmental and resource management. The offer is supplemented by an advanced course for graduates of agricultural and forestry colleges. WOERLE repeatedly works with HBLA Ursprung as part of various research projects.

AMA Agricultural Market Austria

The Agrarmarkt Austria Marketing GmbH is responsible for the development and implementation of various quality assurance schemes. These include the AMA seal of approval, which stands for excellent quality,
traceability of origin and independent quality control. The cheese specialties from WOERLE also regularly receive the seal of approval.

Salzburg University

The Paris Lodron University of Salzburg (PLUS) is the largest educational institution in Salzburg with almost 18.000 students and around 2.900 employees in research, teaching and administration. The university's name, Paris Lodron, reflects its founding by Prince Archbishop Paris Lodron in 1622.
